Functions and Responsibilities

The Civil Works Department is responsible for:

1. Construction, repairing, and extension of buildings.
2. Maintenance of Inspection Bungalows (IBs).
3. Maintenance of residential quarters and other departmental buildings.
4. Construction of roads, footpaths, water tanks, ring wells, and other public infrastructure.

Departmental Leadership

The department is headed by:

1. Superintending Engineer.
2. Executive Engineer.
3. Executive Engineer (Second).
4. Junior Engineer/
